In honor of their first wedding anniversary, here are some photos of Jen and Andy's beautiful wedding at the Marriott at the Capitol District in downtown Omaha, which happened to be the very first wedding at this newly opened venue. Every detail was stunning and I was so happy to work with such a stylish bride and her family, who have impeccable taste.

Happy Friday, my dears! I've been practicing my brush stroke style for a fun upcoming project and in the process I made you all a little spring art. Download this desktop background or iPhone lock screen to remind you that if there's no rain, there's no flowers. Sometimes you have to go through the wet and cold to get to the beautiful and new.

My mom and I hosted a traditional bridal shower for my little sister in early September, and I was tasked with the decor and the mimosa bar. I lettered a few chalkboards (which will soon be available to rent locally) and I put together all of the floral arrangements (shout out to the Trader Joe's flower section!).  I didn't get to grab very many photos before everything was eaten/used so here's what I have:

I am so lucky to be able to work with the coolest wedding vendors in the industry. This escort display was a Lovestruck project designed for the sweetest of brides. The cards were from Inclosed and the crest from the invitation design was blind embossed into the paper. I added names and table numbers in gold ink. Be still, my heart!
